Smithers-Oasis France Celebrates Creativity and Sustainability at the 2025 OASIS® Cup
Smithers-Oasis France proudly sponsored and hosted the prestigious 2025 OASIS® Cup floral design competition at Novafleur, France’s annual national meeting for professionals in the flower and plant industry. The event, held from October 12–13, 2025, showcased the finest in French floral artistry and innovation under the inspiring theme “Renewal and Nature.”
Since its inception in 2011, the OASIS® Cup has served as a platform for recognizing exceptional floral talent, technical mastery, and creativity. Organized by Smithers-Oasis France for the past 14 years, the competition continues to highlight the artistry and craftsmanship of French florists, while promoting sustainable and innovative floral design practices.
This year’s competition was chaired by Stéphane Chanteloube, recipient of the prestigious title Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) – Best French Craftsman – and OASIS® Floral Products Ambassador. The theme encouraged competitors to use environmentally conscious materials and emphasized creative expressions inspired by renewal and nature, with the new plant based floral foam OASIS® Renewal™.

- 2nd Place: Gautier Cachoir – L’art des fleurs
- 3rd Place: Oksana Maury – Maison de fleurs Pascal Mutel
The competition drew more than 600 florists since its creation, serving as a springboard for many to advance to the French Florist Cup and ultimately the Europa Cup, a continental championship that crowns Europe’s top floral artists.
Sylvain Baudart, MD Smithers-Oasis France, praised the event as a powerful example of how competitions foster brand loyalty, innovation, and community within the floral industry.
