French Florists' Cup

Gepubliceerd op 10 October 2025

The French National Florist Cup Final is held every year. Designed to encourage excellence
and showcase exceptional floral creations to the general public, it has been organised since 1970 by the French Federation of Florists in collaboration with the floral festivities association. This year, the French Cup took place in the exceptional setting of the Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire, at the opening of the event ‘Quand fleurir est un art’ (When flowering is an art).

For several years, the annual competition has been held under the high patronage of the President of the Republic. The competition brought together eight candidates from all over France, who competed in five events spread over three days, representing more than 17 hours of competition, on the theme "When flowering is an art".

The jury was chaired by Gil Boyard (Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2004 and certified international judge Florint) and composed of Benoît Barbin (Champion de France des Fleuristes 2023), Frédéric Dupré (Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2024 and international trainer), Gwendoline Bergeault (European Junior Champion 2023 and French Champion 2024), Petra Konrad (Master Florist (Germany) and CEO FlowerART Academy), and Ferenc Kruzslicz (FlotsMaster (Hungary) and international judge).

Together, they judged each entry on its originality, aesthetics, technique and finish, without forgetting adherence to the theme, subject and imposed constraints. Over the course of three days, the contestants had to demonstrate creativity and technical skill, as well as ingenuity and endurance. The public turned out in large numbers to watch the various events and attend the awards ceremony, which took place on Sunday 5 October.
