How Marginpar takes responsibility
Marginpar grows summer flowers outdoors, year round, on farms in Africa. Growing in open fields means working closely with nature and local conditions, and it also means taking responsibility for the impact on land, water, people and nearby communities. This ESG brochure explains how Marginpar approaches that responsibility in day to day practice. It is not a list of promises. It is a practical overview of how they work, what they measure, what they improve, and what still takes time.
What you will find in the brochure
How they grow (Environment)
How they build soil health through crop rotation, cover crops and composting, how they manage water carefully through rainwater storage, precise irrigation and constructed wetlands, and how they protect crops using Integrated Pest Management (biology first, chemistry last).
How they care for people (Social)
How they focus on safe working, learning and development, and listening structures that help colleagues raise ideas and improve the way they work together.
What governance and certification mean in practice (Governance)
How they use work instructions, registration, audits and certification as checks that keep standards consistent across countries, and help them turn findings into improvements.
Why Marginpar shares this
Marginpar knows stakeholders want more than statements. They want to understand how decisions are made, how trade offs are managed, and how progress is tracked over time. This brochure is one way Marginpar shares that clearly, with real examples from their farms.
