Karmen Kovač Resnik (Gardenia) is the national champion in floral design
The Slovenian National Floral Art Championship took place on 16 September 2024 in Celje, Slovenia and brought together once again the best Slovenian florists. At this prestigious competition, participants showcased their creative ideas and innovative floral arrangements, focusing on aesthetics, technical precision and sustainable approaches in floriculture.
The winner of this year's championship is Karmen Kovač Resnik (Gardenia), who will have the honour of representing Slovenia at the World Cup Floral Art to be held in August 2025 in The Hague, the Netherlands. This international competition will be an opportunity to showcase Slovenia's floricultural masterpieces to a wider global audience and to further the professional development of the winner.
The competition consisted of three tasks: bouquet, arrangement and container planting.
