Less than two weeks to go until Féerie Florale 2026
Bilzen-Hoeselt, September 15, 2026 – In less than two weeks, the historic Grand Commandery of Alden Biesen will once again be transformed into a world of flowers, art and creativity.
From 25 to 28 September 2026, Féerie Florale – Reflections of Nature will bring together leading Belgian and international floral designers, emerging talent and students from a range of floral schools for four days dedicated to floral creativity and craftsmanship.
Under the theme Reflections of Nature, the stately castle rooms, gardens and historic surroundings of Alden Biesen will provide the setting for remarkable floral installations in which flowers, nature, colour, reflections and contrasts take centre stage.
Belgian and international floral designers alongside the next generation
Among the floral artists taking part in Féerie Florale are Chantal Post, Alex Segura and Max Hurtaud, who will present workshops, demonstrations and floral creations during the event.
The next generation of floral designers will also play a prominent role. Students from different floral schools will create their own floral installations inspired by the theme Reflections of Nature, showcasing their creativity and craftsmanship alongside established names from the international floral world.
Young florists will also compete in the Belgian Junior Florists Championship, while floral demonstrations and exhibitions will take place throughout the event.
The Flower of the Year 2026 will also be given a special place at Féerie Florale.
From historic castle rooms to an immersive floral world
Féerie Florale is much more than a traditional flower exhibition. Visitors will experience an immersive journey in which the historic heritage of Alden Biesen meets contemporary floral art.
Alongside the major installations, the programme includes workshops with master florists, live floral demonstrations, exhibitions, competitions and a variety of special themed activities.

EXCLUSIVE MEDIA PREVIEW – 24 SEPTEMBER
One day before the official public opening, on Thursday 24 September from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Féerie Florale will exceptionally open its doors to the media during the final stages of installation.
Journalists, photographers, television and radio crews, online media, influencers and content creators will have the opportunity to:
- follow the final preparations up close;
- capture exclusive photo and video footage before the public opening;
- interview participating floral designers, students and organisers;
- and, together with one guest if they wish, take part in creating a floral installation featuring the Flower of the Year 2026.
This is the only opportunity for media to access Féerie Florale during the installation process, before the event officially opens to the public.
